Lord Denning Scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn for the BPTC; Cholmeley Scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn for Pupillage.

During her second six Francesca predominantly practiced in Crime, both defence and prosecution, in the Crown Court, Magistrates’ Court and Youth Courts across London. For the CPS she undertakes prosecution lists, where she prosecutes upwards of 2-3 trials per day for serious either way offences including multi-handed burglary and threats to kill; summary only matters such as common assault and driving without due care and attention and Youth Court robbery. Francesca also has experience in appeals against sentence and conviction in the Crown Court and other ancillary hearings for both prosecution and defence.  

Prior to Pupillage Francesca spent one year at Tanfield Chambers as a Legal Assistant to the Deputy Head of Chambers, where she gained a thorough grasp and understanding of civil procedure in relation to all aspects of property law including residential landlord and tenant. During Pupillage Francesca acted for both claimants and defendants in small claims hearings and possession proceedings.

Francesca also has experience in drafting Occupation Orders and Non-Molestation Orders and prosecuting breaches of the latter in the Criminal Courts. She is therefore accepting instructions across the spectrum of Chambers’ main practice areas in Crime, Civil and Family.
