We have expertise across the full spectrum of commercial and property disputes from cases relating to commercial leases and construction contracts to consumer credit and insolvency matters.
As a common law set of chambers, our members generally have a broad legal background. We therefore typically draw on a deeper level of advocacy experience and wider legal knowledge than our contemporaries at each level of call, with the consequent benefits for our clients.
At the same time, we bring to bear our specialist knowledge and experience in commercial and property disputes. We act in substantial High Court litigation (and appeals therefrom) as well as more routine County Court matters, together with appearing in the more specialist tribunals such as LVTs. We contribute to professional publications, such as Sweet & Maxwell's Landlord and Tenant Reports which are edited by two of our members. We are members of the specialist Bar Associations. A number of our members are CEDR-accredited mediators.
We provide an efficient and personable service which focuses on your practical and commercial goals.
Our Junior team members have launched the 9 Gough Chambers Junior Commercial and Property Team (JCPT) initiative which offers junior solicitors training, networking and opportunities to speak to barristers informally to develop working relationships. For more information click here.
