Stuart McKechnie and his 3 colleagues on the working party of the Judicial College (under the new chairmanship of Mr. Justice Langstaff) have very recently put the finishing touches to the 13th edition of the Judicial College Guidelines for the Assessment of General Damages in Personal Injury cases.
The new edition, which has been fully updated to take into account inflation since the past edition as well as reflect recent decisions of the higher courts on quantum, is currently scheduled for publication on 17th September 2015.
It is therefore important for those advising Claimants in the intervening period to be aware of the impending increases in General Damages Awards as from that date.
