James Thacker prosecuted GS who sexually abused his biological sister between 1967 and 1976 when he was aged between 12 and 21 and she was aged between 4 and 13. The defendant went on to physically, racially and sexually abuse his stepson and stepdaughter between 1976 and 1997 when they were aged from 5 years of age up to and including when they were young adults.
HH Judge Browne QC sitting at Woolwich Crown Court described the case as the most horrific, shocking and upsetting case he had presided over during his time and sentenced the defendant to 25 years with an additional 1 year licence as the defendant qualified as an offender of particular concern pursuant to s236A CJA 2003.
