The areas of work in which we have particular expertise, experience and excellence.

It is with enormous sadness, tears and a heavy heart that Chambers announces the passing of our dear and beloved colleague Aqeel Noorali.
Aqeel collapsed and died suddenly at his home on 2nd November 2020.
Having joined us after completing time as a pupil in Chambers, Aqeel swiftly forged a successful practice in all areas of common law.
He was a dedicated, fearless and committed advocate – a fine lawyer and an empathetic barrister.
Those who worked with Aqeel, as colleagues, opponents or Instructing Solicitors had only the highest praise for his calm, collected, concise and professional approach.
Most of all, to everyone in Chambers Aqeel was not just a colleague but a dear friend. He leaves all of us at 9 Gough Chambers bereft and sorrowful.
Our sympathies and love extend to his wider family, his parents, his wife Ruba and his beautiful 20 month-old daughter, Zainab.
