Claire Harden-Frost successfully prosecutes offender for multiple rape offences committed in the early 1990s

On 6th December 2017 a jury sitting at Wood Green Crown Court convicted the defendant Kennedy Tisson of raping a child in the 1990s. The victim, who cannot be named, was in local authority care when first raped by Tisson who was then in his early 20s. The jury found that Tisson continued to terrorise the victim raping him on at least 6 other occasions. Tisson is currently a serving prisoner having been sentenced in 2006 to an indeterminate sentence for public protection for raping and torturing two adult female victims in separate attacks committed in 1999 and 2006.

His Honour Judge Perrins adjourned sentence in this case until 5th January 2018.
