Ms Bufalo has pleaded guilty to two large-scale complex criminal cases of frauds against HMRC and thefts from clients. She is due to be sentenced on 20 June.
The lead investigator from the Serious Crime Unit was so impressed by the manner which James approached a number of difficulties in the case that he felt compelled to contact our Head of Chambers personally to express his gratitude to James: “…this leaves me in no doubt about [James’s] professionalism and dedication to his work and his chambers. James’s knowledge of the case and the law re this matter was amazing and when an issue came up (it did many times) James was able to deal with it quickly with no fuss.”
