James Byrne to provide advice to the estates and dependents of those killed in the Tunisian terrorist attacks

On 26 June 2015, 38 people were murdered and 39 wounded by an Islamic extremist, Seifeddine Rezgui Yacoubi in a terrorist attack at the Riu Imperial Marhaba Hotel at Port El Kantaoui, situated to the north of Sousse, Tunisia. 30 of the murdered were British citizens.

The estates of the deceased and those injured in the attack are currently bringing a claim against their tour operater, TUI UK Ltd. Andrew Ritchie QC of this Chambers is due to begin the inquest into the deaths on 16 January 2017, and the trial is due to begin later in spring.

James Byrne has been asked to provide advice to the estates and dependents of those killed in respect of their Fatal Accident Claims.
