Stuart McKechnie QC settles poly trauma claim for just over £7million

In August 2018, a father of two was seriously injured in a head-on collision whilst driving to work through Norfolk. The vehicle he was travelling in was pushed into a ditch at high speed, which resulted in him suffering significant orthopaedic injuries. The Claimant required extensive surgery and has been left with restricted mobility requiring the use of a walking frame.

Following considerable work optimising the evidential position in the case, Stuart McKechnie QC negotiated a settlement of just over £7million at a JSM. This is one of the highest settlements for poly-trauma injuries ever recorded.
